Any citizen who wish to register the births & deaths in Manipur needs certificates for births & deaths from the registration unit centres. As per the existing procedure, the citizen shall approach the respective Registrar/Executive Officer in their registration unit centre, Government of Manipur to get the birth/death/still birth forms. The respective Registrar/Executive Officer shall register and issue the certificate within 10 days from the date of receipt. However due to various administrative reasons, the citizen could not get the birth/death certificate in time.

Hence, to help the citizen in getting the birth/death certificate without any difficulty and delay, the Manipur Government introduces this online facility to register at their doorstep without approaching their respective registration unit centres. This online facility is the first of its kind in India.

This online facility is introduced by the Department of Health Services, Government of Manipur with good intention that every citizen shall furnish the correct and true details in the online application form.

It is requested that the concerned Registrar/Executive Officer or the related Officer who issue the certificates to the citizen shall have cross check with the online registration details in the website to ascertain the validity/cancellation etc.
